Fairy Tales

At the beginning of our fairy tale course with Carla Sonheim we were supposed to make self portraits in paper doll format. Life has been very busy but last night I got chance to make these little guys. It was so much fun!

I think this is the closest I have got to wearing a crown!

Thames Festival up and coming

I've been super busy as I have been preparing for this weekend and next at the Thames Festival, with We Make London.

I will be selling this weekend from 11am until 9pm by the beautiful Bernie Spain Gardens, last year it had some amazing music, I can't wait to see what is going on this year!

I have been busy making lots of brooches and even some new designs too.

These are very fiddly to make but I was so happy with the results...I now need I photo shoot for these little guys and girls!

I hope to catch you over at the Thames Festival this weekend...if you do find me please come and introduce yourself, I would love to say hi!

School Fairs

I'm used to having a stall in a market place but as soon as I do a family orientated event I'm a bit lost. I know as a parent, the kids come first and if they are happy we are happy. So with my first school fair, even though I'm in the Designer Makers area, I thought I would try and caterer for the little people.
I have be up late designing and making a few bits that I hope the kids will like and hopefully not just the girls.
Not only have a got lots of design your own heart badges but cars too!
I also have decorate your own garden stakes complete with magic beans! The garden stakes could also double as a book mark, wall decorations or even a magic wand!

I will be at Preston Manor Lower School, this Saturday the 22nd June 11am-2pm
