Hello
I had a lovely day at the Duck Pond Market and met lots of lovely people.
Here are a few pictures...
I met I this great guy Sharif Adams whom carves wooden rustic bowls and runs workshops. He was lovely and we chatted all afternoon in between customers! www.sharifadams.co.uk Here is his work.
I also met another lovely Etsy lady - Zoe whom runs Ladybird Likes. It was also her first time at the Duck Pond Market. She makes the most interesting Lazar cut items. Here is some of her pieces .
Also over the week I have discovered this lovely lady Heidi who makes
lovely lamp work glass items including cats, here is one of here pieces.
She runs a shop called Aventurine Dream on Etsy and here is her blog.
Hope you had a fun & profitable day! Looks like a great space full of interesting items
ReplyDeleteI had a lovely day and a little bit of profit :-)
DeleteLooks like a great setup to meet nice people! Even if sales were not that good, you had something to take home :)
ReplyDeleteEveryone was so nice and even my friends turned up and bought me lunch which was lovely of them.
DeleteLiz, you do make beautiful art. I am loving your work here.
ReplyDeleteThank you :-)
DeleteMany thanks, I had a great time, just need to do a tweak on my pricing on a few things and introduce some impulse buys and I should be better next time.
ReplyDeleteEverything at the market has been either homemade, responsively sourced, or organic so it has a nice feel all around.
Many thanks for reading my blog, it's lovely to know I'm not talking to myself :-)
That is wonderful that you had a super time at the Duck Pond Market. By any chance is this in Ruislip? As it looks very familiar and have family there and sometimes go to the barn when the market is on.
ReplyDeleteHello yes it is the market in Ruislip, I can't believe that I missed that off my blog. I should be there on the 19th of August all being well.
